a lucky night

this isn't running related but I thought it deserved mention. Last night as I was driving to dance a jay walker/runner ran out in front of my car, I was able to stop in time but I totally didn't think I'd make it. Luckily I'd had my brakes changed last semester and that there was no one behind me. It was so close that I'm not even pissed at the guy, I'm just really happy that I could stop in time. Driving home last night and driving to work this morning I was VERY alert. Anyway, I'm just really happy that everything is fine and nothing happened!
